02
Subscription Services, Pricing and Currency
AceBGCSE provides access to online digital educational content, revision notes, study resources and related learning services through subscription plans.
The current Premium subscription price displayed on the AceBGCSE pricing page is P95 per month, with a 3-day free trial for eligible new users.
Subscription fees are displayed on the Platform before checkout and are denominated in Botswana Pula (BWP).
Subscription prices may change in the future. Any price changes will apply only to future billing periods and will be communicated through the Platform before taking effect.
03
Digital Product Delivery and Fulfilment
AceBGCSE is an online digital service. No physical products are shipped, delivered or collected.
After successful payment confirmation, premium access is made available through the user's AceBGCSE account and dashboard.
AceBGCSE content is provided for online educational use through the Platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, subscription access does not mean that revision materials are sold as downloadable files or physical goods.
If access is not granted immediately due to a verified technical issue, AceBGCSE will investigate the issue and restore access as soon as reasonably practicable after the transaction has been verified.
04
Free Trial
AceBGCSE currently offers a three (3) day free trial for eligible new users.
The free trial allows users to evaluate the Premium service before paid subscription access begins.
Users are responsible for monitoring the trial period and cancelling before the trial ends if they do not wish to continue.
Unless cancelled before the trial ends, a paid recurring monthly subscription may begin automatically after the 3-day trial period.
05
Cancellation of Subscriptions
Users may cancel their subscriptions at any time.
Cancellation may be completed through the cancellation tools provided on the Platform where available, or by contacting AceBGCSE support for assistance.
Upon cancellation, future recurring charges will cease and access to Premium content will remain available until the end of the current paid billing period.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle and does not automatically result in a refund for payments already made.
06
Refund Policy
6.1 General Rule
Except where required by applicable law, payments made to AceBGCSE are generally non-refundable because the service provides access to non-tangible digital educational content.
This includes monthly subscription fees, partial subscription periods and unused portions of an active subscription.
6.2 Reason for Non-Refundability
AceBGCSE provides access to digital educational content and online learning resources after successful payment. Once digital access has been granted, the service has been delivered and the content cannot be physically returned.
6.3 Circumstances Where Refunds May Be Considered
Refund requests may be reviewed in limited circumstances, including duplicate payments, incorrect billing caused by a system error, unauthorised transactions confirmed by payment provider or bank investigation, or verified technical issues that completely prevent access to paid services where no reasonable solution can be provided.
Refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Where a refund is approved, it will normally be reversed to the original payment method where technically possible. Refund timelines may depend on the user's bank, mobile money provider or payment processor.
07
Payment Security and Card Data
Payment information is securely handled by the payment method or third-party payment provider made available on the AceBGCSE checkout page at the time of purchase.
AceBGCSE does not intentionally store full credit card numbers, debit card numbers or sensitive payment authentication data on its own local servers.
Users should only make payments through official AceBGCSE checkout pages and should not share payment credentials, one-time passwords or account passwords with other persons.
08
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, you should contact AceBGCSE support before initiating a dispute or chargeback through your bank, card issuer, mobile money provider or payment provider.
Ace Digital Technologies (Pty) Ltd may use relevant transaction records, account access records, support communication and subscription records when responding to payment disputes or chargeback claims.
Fraudulent, abusive or repeated chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of access to the Platform, subject to applicable law.
09
Account Responsibility
Users are responsible for monitoring subscription status, keeping registered email accounts accessible, maintaining secure login credentials, and cancelling subscriptions before renewal if they do not wish to continue.
Parents or guardians who allow a minor to use AceBGCSE or make payments are responsible for supervising account use and subscription management.
Failure to cancel a subscription before renewal does not automatically qualify a user for a refund.
10
Billing Enquiries
For billing enquiries, users should contact AceBGCSE support as soon as reasonably possible.
To help investigate billing issues, users may be asked to provide their full name, registered email address, transaction reference, payment date and a description of the issue.
AceBGCSE aims to respond to billing enquiries within two (2) business days where reasonably possible.
11
Changes to this Policy
Ace Digital Technologies (Pty) Ltd may amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, subscription process, payment arrangements, legal requirements or operational practices.
Updated versions become effective when published on AceBGCSE. Continued use of the Platform after publication means that the user accepts the updated Policy.
12
Governing Law
This Refund & Cancellation Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Botswana.
Any dispute arising from this Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Botswana, subject to any applicable consumer protection laws.
